The following information has been researched by Peter Kennedy:
William Young lived at 15 Hanbury Terrace Droitwich. He was killed on active service. Prior to the war he had worked at Hartlebury and later as a gardener in Wychbold. He was a member of the Dodderhill Church choir and he was a keen footballer.
