A letter from the Reverend Eric W. Bartlam, The Rectory, Elmley Lovett, nr Droitwich dated 10th June 1950 can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives requesting that Charles Henry Wright be added to the county roll of honour. The letter states that Lance Corporal Wright, Corps of Military Police (originally 1st Middlesex Regiment) died in Jap hands in Hong Kong.
