Even Sunday’s joy was overshadowed by the news of Tom Willis’s death and the greatest sympathy is felt for Mrs Willis. Tom was such a steady good fellow, and excellent husband and faithful servant at the Noak for 17 years. We have no more tragic loss than his to mourn.
The same photograph of Private T. Willis can be found in Berrow’s Worcester Journal Supplement, Saturday 21st September 1918 and Saturday 30th November 1918, available at Worcestershire Archives.
