Appears in the Worcester/Worcestershire Roll of Honour Book for army casualties located in Worcester Cathedral under Areley Kings casualties with the information: The Manchester Regiment.

William White was born on 7th February 1887, the son of James and Sarah Whitre of Areley Kings, Worcestershire.  He entered Old swinford Hospital on 16th June 1896 and left the school on 17th December 1901 to go to T. Southerton, plumber and painter of Stourport.

William White died at the 19th Casualty Clearing Station of wounds received in action.  Prior to enlisting he was employed on the Bentley Estate.
