Robert attended Worcester Royal Grammar School from 1906 to 1907. A son was born five months after his father’s death; baptised Robert Arthur.

The wedding of Private Robert A. Warren of the Army Service Corps, and Miss Rosalia Cresswell, our popular District Nurse took place at the Parish Church on June 6th.

Very genuine sympathy is felt, in and around Grimley, with the widow and parents of the late Gunner Robert A Warren, R.F.A., elder son of Mr and Mrs W. Warren and husband of Mrs Rosalie Warren our District Nurse. He was wounded in action in France, and his death occurred at a Military Hospital in France, on October 18th. Of a kindly and amiable disposition he was much liked and respected in the district where he was so well known. He was a member of the Church Choir and of the Band of Ringers.
