Further Information About WARD Luke

Luke Ward enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force as Private 33691 on 23rd September 1914 at Valcartier, Quebec, Canada.  On his attestation paper he gave his date of birth as 26th November 1894 and his place of birth as Hanley William, nr Tenbury, England.  His next of kin was his mother, Alice Ward of Hanley William nr Tenbury.  He gave no occupation on his attestation paper.  Luke was 5 feet 6¼ inches tall with blue eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion.
