Bromsgrove Weekly Messenger 10th February 1917:
Joseph Vellender.
Stoke Works Institute has heard of the death of a soldier. Joseph died of bronchial pneumonia at Chiseldon Hospital, aged 30. He was called-up on December 22nd last and placed in a training battalion at Swindon. For the last eight years had worked for Mr W. Reeves at Red House Farm.
