Thomas Henry Turberville was born at Forthampton near Tewkesbury in 1897, the son of Mark and Elizabeth Turberville, Slades Green, Longdon. In 1911 he was employed as a Farm labourer.  He enlisted at Tewkesbury and went to France on 16th December 1915.
