Further Information About TAYLOR Ronald
Ronald attended Worcester Royal Grammar School from 1933 to 1939. On the 15th August 1941, Ronald and three other crew members flew from Swinderby on a Hampden aircraft to take part in air-sea rescue work. After signalling that their engines were failing, the aircraft disappeared over the North Sea. The bodies of Ronald and another crew member were later washed ashore and buried in Germany.
