A letter from H.J. Winnington, Honorary Secretary of PCC, St James Church, Wollaston dated 17th December 1950 can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives requesting that Private Arthur Taylor, RAOC be added to the county roll of honour.
The special memorial to Arthur Taylor consists of a small plot consisting of two graves containing the ashes of soldiers who perished in captivity. Their names are listed on a memorial wall in Kanchanburi War Cemetery. Photographs are available of the Special Memorial plot and the plaque with the names on.
