The following report appears in the Kidderminster Shuttle, 20th October 1917:
Private Arthur Taylor, 1st/8th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment. Killed in action. Eldest son of Mrs Taylor of Lax Lane, Bewdley. Aged 28 and employed at the Home Farm, Ribbesford before joining the Worcesters about two years ago.
