Further Information About STEWARD Sidney John

Served in the Boer War.

Sidney Steward was born on 26th April 1879.  He entered Form 3b Kings School in May 1891 and became a Kings Scholar in 1892.  Sidney had previously been educated by Miss Newton, Comer House.  His parent is registered as J.A. Steward, 27 High Street.  He left Kings School from Form VI in July 1897(?). To Downing College, Cambridge.  His brother, Charles Alfred Steward born on 23rd September 1875 also attended Kings School.
