Rednal Soldier Dies of Disease
Mr and Mrs W. Stanley, of Ten Ashes, Rednal, have received information of the death from disease of their eldest son, Private William Thomas Stanley, (41186) Worcestershire Regiment. Letters from the officer of the hospital to which he was admitted state that he was brought in on the 25 October 1917 suffering from Diphtheria and although everything possible was done for him €œhe passed peacefully away on the 28 October following. Another son, Frank Stanley, is serving with the forces.
