A letter from Keith’s mother, J.E. Spiers, 7 Tewkesbury Road, Naunton, Near Upton on Severn, dated 22nd March 1952 can be found within war records held at Worcestershire Archives requesting that his name be added to the county roll of honour. The letter states that Sergeant Keith H. Spiers, RAF, attached to 460 Squadron RAAF, service no 1818722, lost his life on the night of 22nd June 1944. He was a former member of 187 Squadron Worcester ATC.
