Reginald Lester Speak, King’s Royal Rifles is listed in “Stourport Men and the War” – a list of men serving, Kidderminster Shuttle, 19th December 1914.

Reginald Speak was the elder son of Mr and Mrs J.C. Speake of Areley Kings.  He joined the army soon after the outbreak of war and went to France seventeen months ago.  He was killed in action five days before his 21st birthday.  His brother is serving in the Grenadier Guards.
