L/Cpl B. Simpson Killed
Mrs B. Simpson, of 33 Burrish St Droitwich, was informed on Monday that her husband, L/Cpl B. Simpson, had been killed on active service in Western Europe. He joined the Worcestershire Regiment on October 19, 1939, but was transferred to another Regiment on going out with the British Liberation Army. The last time his wife heard from him was a field card written on April 11. He was killed a few days later. L/Cpl B. Simpson was the son of Mrs L. Simpson, of the Vines, Droitwich, and the late Mr Simpson. His wife is the daughter of Mr and Mrs T. Colley, 12, Woodfield Road, Droitwich. There are two children.
