Geoffrey Silvester attended Bromsgrove School from 1905 to 1911. He obtained a commission in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment but was transferred to the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry where he was promoted to Captain. Only son of Mr H. Silvester of Handsworth. Died of wounds.
