The following information has been researched by Dave Pugh:
Son of George and Elizabeth Salisbury, of Bannutt Hill, Kempsey. On the 1911 Census, Albert, aged 14, gave his occupation as a farm labourer, his father was a Market Gardener, at The Greens, Kempsey. Albert was the oldest child, there were also Reginald 12, Harold 9, William 5, Jeanetta 3, and baby Archie just 5 months. Lance Corporal (Acting Corporal) A.H.G. Salisbury was awarded the Military Medal on 23rd February 1918.
Albert Salisbury has no known grave, the photograph available shows his name on Ploegsteert Memorial.
