The following report appears in the Upton News of 21st April 1917:
News has been received by Mrs Reynolds, London Lane, that her husband, Private F. Reynolds, of the Worcester Regiment, formerly in the employ of Mr J. Preece, High Street, has died in hospital in France. Thus is swollen the long list of Uptonians who have given their lives for their country.
A photograph of Private F. Reynolds of Upton can be found in Berrow’s Worcester Journal Supplement, Saturday 12th May 1917, available at Worcestershire Archives.
