Reports on Private Frank Read appear in the Bromsgrove Weekly Messenger, 3rd February 1917 and 10th February 1917:
Frank Read of Belbroughton, Worcestershire Regiment. Killed in action on 19th January, aged 22. The son of Mr and Mrs Charles Read he joined the Worcesters about a year ago. The Reads have three sons on active service. The report includes a photograph of Private Frank Read.
