Son of James and Louisa Potter, husband of J. Potter, 13 York Street, Stourport. Married Jane Bell/Ball at Stourport in March 1913. Enlisted 12th December, 1915, age given as 24 years and 2 months. Service papers give his address as 23 Park Road, Rounds Green, Oldbury. Left for France in October 1916, killed in action North of Ypres. John’s name is recorded on his parents’ headstone in Stourport churchyard, Grave H23.
