Further Information About PILCHER Gerald Aubrey
Gerald Pilcher was born in 1896. He attended Bromsgrove School from 1909 – 1914. He was Head Monitor, played in the school XV and was a Sergeant in OTC. He was elected to a Cooke’s Scholarship at Worcester College, Oxford in December 1914 but enlisted and passed very rapidly through his training and was soon in France. There he was severely wounded and returned home. He was later wounded by shrapnel and he died soon after.
