Further Information About MUSGROVE William Martin

William Musgrove was born in 1896. He attended Bromsgrove School from 1910 to 1914 where he played for the school XV team. He enlisted in the Liverpool Scottish in November 1914 but was later transferred with a Commission to the Border Regiment where he was Signal Officer. In October 1916 he went to France and was transferred to the London Regiment with which he was serving at the time of death. He had on a previous occasion been slightly wounded but on April 14th he was again so severely wounded that an operation had to be performed; he died the following day.
