Resident Earls Croome, enlisted Cleobury Mortimer.

Entered Gallipoli 25th April 1915, on the first day of the landings.  Killed in action during the action of Gully Ravine, 28th June 1915.  The Victoria Cross was awarded to Lieutenant H. James of the same battalion for his deeds on this day.
