United Parish Magazine, Witley section, November 1919:
To the list of those killed in the War, though not in action, must be added the name of William Henry Morgan. He served with the Guards in France, and the exposure and hardships of the trenches brought on a serious illness, from which he never really recovered. He was invalided home, and got sufficiently well to be able to begin work, but his heart had been affected, and after many weeks of illness, patiently borne, he died at home on October 18th. Everyone will feel for his wife and family.
Mrs Morgan wishes to express her thanks for all the sympathy shown to her and hers in their trouble.
