Malvern News, 7th August 1915:
Bdr G.T. Marsh RFA, the son of Mr and Mrs W. Marsh, Hill View Cottage, Malvern Wells, has died of shrapnel wounds.  He is an Old Boy of Warrington School, Malvern Wells.  He was a sometime member of the church choir.  Aged 23, he formerly served in the Territorials.  As an amateur actor he appeared in “Money” and “The Corsican Brothers”, performed at Malvern Wells by Warrington Old Boys.
