Albert Victor Malins was born in Willersey on 2nd June 1897.  In 1911 Albert aged 13 lived with his widowed mother Emma Malins and his 4 brothers at the Post Office, Hampton. There is a medal index card for an Albert V. Malins who served as Private 357194, this may relate to this individual.  Albert died in 1969 in the Forest of Dean District.
