Llewellyn Lloyd enlisted for 4 years service as a Private in the Staffordshire Yeomanry on 4th November 1914 at Stafford, Service No 3066.  On his attestation form he stated that he lived in Alfrick near Worcester and he gave his age as 21 years.  Llewellyn was 5 feet 8½ inches tall, his next of kin was his mother, Mrs A. Lloyd, Alfrick, Worcester. He was discharged from the army on 7th April 1916 having been on Home Service since his enlistment.
