Registered at birth as Harold Frederick Lilley in 1894 in Redditch.  On the 1911 census Harold Lilley aged 17, Hair Dresser (assistant) lived with his parents Henry Lilley aged 48, Hair Dresser, own account, Harriet Frances Lilley aged 48 and siblings at White Cottage, Ipsley, near Redditch.
