Harry Lambley was born in Childswickham in 1894, the son of William and Elizabeth Lambley.  He was employed as a market gardener, and joined the Worcestershire Regiment, 10th Battalion, when the Great War broke out.  He was 22 when he died, unmarried.  He had several siblings, notably Felix Wifred Lambley, his younger brother, who also fought at the Somme with the Warwickshire Regiment, but was invalided out after a serious head injury.

Harry Lambley has no known grave, the photograph available shows his name on Thiepval Memorial.
