Further Information About KITSON George Graham

George Kitson was born on 22nd November 1915. He entered Form 2 Kings School on 17th September 1927. At the time of his admission to the school his parent is recorded as G.T.K., 15 Droitwich Road, Worcester. He had previously been educated at Tredennyke House. George left Kings School from Form REM in April 1933 and took employment in his father’s chemist business.
The word ‘Missing’ is written in pencil in the column next to his name.

Berrow’s Worcester Journal, 7th August 1943:
Pilot-Officer G. Kitson Killed
Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Kitson, White House, London Road, have now received official information that their only son, Graham, reported missing on June 21, lost his life in the great raid over Krefeld. He was a Lancaster bomber pilot and joined the R.A.F. in 1939. He was educated at Worcester Cathedral King’s School.
The report includes a photograph of George Kitson.
