Andrew Kennagh attended Worcester Royal Grammar School from 1925 to 1932.  He was the younger son of Andrew and Sarah Kennagh of 9 Bath Road, Worcester and after leaving school he joined the Metal Box Company in Worcester, eventually moving with them to London.  When war broke out he enlisted in the army and went to France with the British Expeditionary Force.  After being evacuated from Dunkirk in 1940 he returned to Sandhurst and in the Autumn of 1941 he joined the Indian Army.  According to his obituary in the Worcester Evening News he was killed in action in Burma, a requiem mass being held in St George’s R.C. Church in Worcester.
