Malvern News, 25th September 1915:
Cpl William Jones 9/Worcesters has been killed in action at Gallipoli on the 10th August 1915. He is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs James Jones of Bank Farm Cottages, West Malvern. The deceased has two brothers in the armed forces. He was aged 23. He was employed at Bank Farm, before joining up on the outbreak of war.
