At the time of his admission to the school his parent is recorded as F.J., 6 Fairfield Rd, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. James had previously been educated at Old Park House, Radbourne, nr. Derby. He left Kings School from Form M6 in April 1935. Commercial Artist.
