Leoanrd Inett lived at 23 Princes Avenue, Droitwich. When he was 17 he left Droitwich and in 1919 he emigrated to Australia where he owned two farms. When war was declared he said he was “to do his bit for King and Country.” He was educated at Salwarpe school and later worked at Droitwich Railway Station. He was one of 4 sons. His father, George, was a former landlord of the Copcut Elm public house.
