Stanley Hughes was born on 24th January 1915. He entered Form IIb at Kings Norton Boys School on 6th September 1926 and left the school from Form Vc on 24th July 1931. His home address on the school records was given as 15 Woodbrook Road, Bournville. Examinations passed: School Certificate 1931.
At 1.30pm on 27th February 1941, German bombers attacked Parnall’s Aircraft Factory. Fifty three employees lost their lives as a result of the raid.
