At the same address: George (father), police pensioner, mother, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
15 Company Machine Gun Corps was a component of the 5th Division. In 1916 this Division was engaged in the Battle of the Somme, which commenced on 1st July. The Battle of Morval, part of the Battle of the Somme, was fought between 25th and 28th September. This engagement was an attack by the British Fourth Army on the villages of Morval, Gueudecourt and Lesboufs held by the German 1st Army.
