Gilbert Holloway was born on 25th February 1913.  He entered Form IIa at Kings Norton Boys School on 9th September 1924 and left the school from Form Via on 25th July 1930. His home address on the school records was given as 119 Maryville Road, Bournville. This was later amended to 37 Colledge Road, King’s Norton.  Examinations passed: Matriculation Joint Board 1928.  Higher School Certificate 1930.
