William Hollington was born in 1879. On the 1901 census he was aged 21, cycle fitter and classed as inmate of Army home, in Gloucester and the Head of the house was Supt. of Church Army Home. On the 1881 census William aged 1, lived with his parents John and Harriet Hollington and siblings at 8 Monks Building, Ipsley Street, Redditch.
