Arthur Hill, occupation: engine cleaner (soldier), resident York Place, Claines, died in Rubery Hospital, near Birmingham. He was buried in consecrated ground in Astwood Cemetery on 11th November 1918, aged 20 years. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend G.H. Isaac.

The 1911 Census shows that Arthur, aged 12, was living at The Bakery Buildings, Kempsey, with his father George, mother Eliza, and sisters Annie 15, Nellie 8 and Vera 6.
