Bromsgrove Weekly Messenger, 5th May 1917:
Private George T. Harrison, Worcestershire Regiment.
Private Harrison resided at 12 Hanbury Street, Droitwich, late of Stoke Works. He was the eldest son of Mr George T. Harrison, 31 Sagebury Terrace, Stoke Works. He died on April 22nd of wounds received on 21st. Severe wounds in abdomen and face caused by enemy shell fire. Private Harrison would have been 28 if he had lived to 11th inst. He leaves a widow and child, five weeks old. Prior to enlistment he was employed as a sheetman at the Salt Union. He had been on active service about four months. Two brothers are at the front with the Royal Engineers. The report includes a photograph of Private George T. Harrison.
