Howard Geoffrey Harrison was part of the crew of Avro Lancaster MK1 NG325 which took off at 18.37hrs on the 3/3/1945 from Fulbeck to bomb the Dortmund-Ems Canal near Ladbergen. The aircraft was coded CA.H of 189 Squadron. On return it was intercepted by an intruder, JU88 Nightfighter & shot down, crashing at 01.18hrs 4/3/1945 near the railway station at East Rudham, 6 miles WSW of Fakenham, Norfolk. All the crew perished.
