Harold Henry Hall joined Kidderminster Borough Police as PC K020 on 10th May 1911 when he gave his date of birth as 5th July 1890 at St Sarwin’s Manchester, his home address as 53 Showell Street, West Gorton, Manchester and his previous employment as a Warehouseman. At the time he joined the force he was 20 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches tall with a fresh complexion, blue eyes and light brown hair. Harold left the police force on 16th July 1915 to serve with the Royal Garrison Artillery. On 4th November 1916 he married Nellie E. Wadeley in Kidderminster. After his discharge from the army Harold re-joined Kidderminster Borough Police on 16th May 1919 as PC K019. He retired on 10th May 1936 after 25 years service, receiving a pension of £145 1s 7d per annum.

Harold Hall, aged twenty-four; height, 5ft. 11in. Service in force, four years. Native of Manchester.
All enlisted in the Royal Garrison Artillery on July 15th last, and are now stationed in the South of England. Hall, Palmer, Allen, Haycox and Large are attached to the 49th Battery (Siege), R.F.A., and Moody is now attached to the 56th Battery (Siege), R.G.A. All are single men.
