Malvern Gazette 17th February 1917:
Mrs A E Haffield of Pound Bank, has received information from the War Office on Saturday, that her husband Pte T. Haffield of the Worcestershire Regiment has been killed in action. He is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Haffield of Poolbrook. He was aged 32.
