Shrawley Parish Magazine, April 1917:
Another of our lads has been ‘called’.  Harold Grosvenor was killed when engaged in a successful attack by the Worcesters in France.  He was a good soldier and a good son. One of three brothers confirmed last April, he was a regular communicant since he joined his Battalion.  This is a great consolation to his family, for whom there is widespread and genuine sympathy.

A photograph of Private H. Grosvenor of Holt Heath can be found in Berrow’s Worcester Journal Supplement, Saturday 28th April 1917, available at Worcestershire Archives.

Harold Grosvenor has no known grave, the photograph available shows his name on Thiepval Memorial.
