Percy Griffin was born at Hinton on the Green on 26th November 1896, the son of Charles Edward and Esther Jane Griffin, The Bevins, Hinton on the Green.  Prior to enlisting he was employed as a Ploughman.  He was husband to Annie Griffin nee Latham who he married in the September Quarter 1922 in the Evesham Registration District. Percy died in 1987 aged 90.
