Further Information About GIBBINS Malcolm Alfred

Malcolm attended Worcester Royal Grammar School from 1927 to 1932.  During the Battle of Elst in Holland, two companies of the Worcestershire Regiment were involved in heavy street fighting as they fought to push through the town.  Major Gibbins was killed when the house he was standing beside with a group of his men was hit by a German shell.
