The following report appears in the Kidderminster Times, 7th April 1917:
Private William Slater Gerrett, 16664, 10th Battalion Battalion Worcestershire Regiment. Son of Mr and Mrs T.S. Gerrett, Lavender Road, Worcester.  Died in hospital from wounds received in action on 27th February.  The report includes a photograph of William Gerrett.
