Appears in the Worcester/Worcestershire Roll of Honour Book for army casualties located in Worcester Cathedral.

The birth of Eric Thomas Gaunt is registered in the March Quarter 1884 under the Bromsgrove Registration District.  On the 1911 census Eric resided at 26 St George Place, Canterbury; he completed his own census return stating that he was a boarder, aged 27, single, a Lieutenant in the Royal Army Medical Corps and he was born in Alvechurch, Worcestershire.  His listing on the 1913 Medical Register states that he was in the Army Medical Corps, was registered on 21st July 1908 having qualified as M.B., Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Birmingham in 1908.

Eric Gaunt is remembered on a family grave in Alvechurch St Laurence Churchyard.
