Further Information About FRANCIS John James
John Francis enlisted in the Army Service Corps for the duration of the war on the 21st December 1914 at the Worcestershire Recruiting Office. On his attestation form he gave his address as Eardiston, Tenbury, his age as 28 years and his occupation as a Baker. He was 5 feet 8 inches tall. He served at home until the 11th August 1916 when he was posted overseas to Salonica, arriving their on the 25th August 1916. John died of bronco-pneumonia at the 50th General Hospital, Salonica on the 5th January 1919.
